Teaching in General Practice & Rural Health
The entire range of medical education from preclinical and clinical undergraduate through vocational, postgraduate and continuing professional development is represented within the Department of General Practice & Rural Health. The Department continues to develop its role in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and in national and international practice-based research.
All staff participate in teaching, research and administration. In particular they have responsibilities in both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in General Practice and work with other Departments and the Dunedin School of Medicine in its respective teaching programmes, and also have responsibilities with examinations, undertaking research and help to stimulate and supervise research in the department.
