Welcome

WELCOME to the Cancer Society Social and Behavioural Research Unit. The SBRU was established in 1990 with core funding from the Cancer Society of New Zealand Inc and the support of the University of Otago. To date, it has worked, mainly, in the priority areas identified for the primary prevention of cancer in New Zealand, in particular, tobacco control, ultraviolet radiation exposure, and healthy physical activity and nutrition.
