Dr Richard Egan
Research
A PhD project provisionally titled: Spiritual well-being concepts and practices in Aotearoa New Zealand palliative cancer care. This research is funded by a scholarship from Genesis Oncology and administered through the University of Otago. Support has also been received from the Cancer Society of New Zealand (Canterbury and West Coast Division).
Supervisors for the project are Associate Professor Rob McGee (SBRU), Professor Rod McLeod (North Shore Hospice), Dr Chrystal Jaye (Department of General Practice), and Dr Joanne Baxter (Ngai Tahu Maori Research Unit, Otago University).
