Women's & Children's Health in Dunedin

Welcome to the Department of Women's and Children's Health (WCH). The Department comprises the Sections of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics & Child Health, with both Sections having a long and proud tradition in the University of Otago for its teaching and research.

In 1999 a restructuring of departments within the Dunedin School of Medicine brought Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Paediatrics & Child Health under the umbrella of the Department of Women's & Children's Health. Professor Barry Taylor is Head of Department of Women's & Children's Health.
