The Diploma of Child Health
The diploma consists of two papers: CHHX 701 Community Child Health (30 points) and CHHX 702 Clinical Attachment in Paediatrics.(90 points). It is mainly taught using distance taught tutorials on Wednesday evenings. The Diploma in Child Health is partly funded by the Clinical Training Agency. Welcome to CHHX701, Community Child Health. This paper forms one of the requirements for the University of Otago’s Postgraduate Diploma in Child Health(DCH), and is also available for other postgraduate health professionals.

Master of Medical Science, MD, PhD
All these postgraduate degrees are offered through the department in areas of research interests of departmental members. Two postgraduate fellowships - scholarships are available within the department for those who wish to spend one or two full-time years in paediatric research leading to one of these degrees.
