Research
Research saves lives...
improves health, and is the foundation of clinical practice. Dunedin School of Medicine (DSM) has a strong research tradition, and many researchers are international leaders in their areas.
Much of the research is conducted in partnership with the Otago District Health Board (ODHB). The ODHB and DSM have a joint Health Research Office (HRO) which is overseen by the Research Advisory Group (RAG).
The RAG promotes, monitors and approves the arrangements for undertaking research and to ensure patient safety in research. For further information, advice or assistance in the DSM or ODHB regarding research and research funding, contact the HRO.
