An Invitation

Dr John Adams and Professor Andre van Rij of the Dunedin School of Medicine, Carole Heatly, Chief Executive Officer of the Southern District Health Board, and the Board of Health Research South cordially invite you to join them for this year's Health Research Excellence Awards.

This ceremony is to acknowledge excellent research initiatives in the shared research environment of the Dunedin School of Medicine and the Southern District Health Board.

Presentations to be made on the night will include:

  • Research Publication and Poster Awards
  • Southern DHB Clinical Research Award
  • Southern DHB Award for Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Practitioners

Requests for Applications

Applications are invited for the Health Research Excellence Awards for 2013.

The Health Research Excellence Awards Ceremony provides a significant opportunity to recognise the work of emerging and established researchers across a range of research activities. All Dunedin School of Medicine and Southern District Health Board staff who are, or intend to be involved in research are encouraged to consider the attached requests for applications.

Awards will be made for:

Applications close 3 April 2013 and will be administered by Lucy Gray of the Dean's Office, DSM.

Awards will be presented at the annual ceremony on Monday, 20 May 2013.
